Pujols enjoyed a big day at the plate. He doubled scoring a run in the 5th inning and launched a Grand Slam homerun (his 48th of the season) in the 6th inning. SSB finished with 18 hits while Santa Fe ended up with 8. The win went to Perez(13-8) who allowed 5 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. Steve Trachsel(11-7) suffered the loss. Dennis Martin was upset after the game. 'I don't like to complain but did you see that umpires strike zone?', he said. 'Maybe they ought to start calling the strike zone the way it's printed in the rule book.'
